Linda worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years, working on both public and private industry and a variety of roles. After completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2009, she established Your Home Care.

The ability to make a real difference to people's lives drives Linda to deliver high-quality services to those who deserve nothing less.

Chris brings over two decades of leadership experience in the health sector, spanning mental health, IVF, and Bupa, and more recently has managed one of Australia's largest charity tele-fundraising businesses. He is dedicated to delivering consistent, quality community support to clients.

Chris’ leadership philosophy centres on cultivating a strong, values-based organisational culture and an engaged workforce, leading to high-quality service delivery and positive client experiences. A father of three adult kids and two canine fur kids, he is enthusiastic about connecting with clients and support workers and works hard to foster an environment that is based on respect and inclusion.

Outside work, Chris enjoys cooking, rugby (union) and photography, and his perfect weekend is camping on the beach on Moreton Island with family and friends. Although originally from England, he has been in Australia for 23 years so he can fly the flag of convenience when it comes to sport (go Matildas!).

Jasmine

Jasmine joined YHC in 2019 as our Service Manager and quickly became a highly valued member of our team. She was promoted to General Manager mid 2021.

You only have to watch Jasmine at work to know she is passionate, caring and committed to both the team and clients.

Supporting and empowering individuals to live in their own homes and maintain their independence is something that Jasmine finds extremely rewarding.

She also loves that the YHC team works together, with the same core values and clear vision of making a positive difference to every single client.

When not at work Jasmine spends time with her family, attending swimming lessons and gymnastics and hanging out with friends.

Helen brings over 15 years of experience as a Client Relationship Manager. Her empathetic nature and passion for making a difference in people's lives are what drew her to the YHC family.

Helen finds it incredibly rewarding to support participants in living their best lives by providing quality care and compassion. Seeing the smiles on our clients' faces brings a smile to hers.

She describes being part of a team that fosters a positive culture and upholds strong values as a breath of fresh air.

In her spare time, Helen enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her mischievous four-legged companions. She also has a knack for furniture restoration and flipping and loves taking weekend getaways in her caravan whenever she can.

Prateek finds immense fulfillment in his work within the disability and aged care sector, driven by the collective sense of purpose shared among service providers striving to make meaningful contributions to society's inclusivity.

Prateek relishes his role at YHC which has provided him a holistic perspective of the business, allowing him to contribute to its sustainable growth in various capacities.

In his spare time, Prateek enjoys immersing himself in the wonders of the new world alongside his 13 and 11-year-old children. He cherishes moments shared with friends over laughter-filled meals and is an avid follower of cricket and rugby league, finding joy in the excitement of sports.

Richelle

Richelle is a dedicated and highly skilled registered nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and a background in community nursing, training, and quality improvement. With extensive experience in adapting to high-pressure environments, Richelle excels in managing complex situations with efficiency and precision, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently met.

Richelle's commitment to honesty and integrity has propelled her into leadership and training roles where she coordinates care for high-acuity participants daily. Her responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments to address the needs of participants, educating staff and stakeholders through various channels, and ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and regulatory requirements.

She is adept at managing the intricacies of stakeholder relationships, including addressing trauma, burnout, and guilt, while leading teams of support workers. Richelle plays a pivotal role in implementing ongoing care plans in collaboration with treating teams, facilitating communication and education between support staff and healthcare providers, organising stakeholder meetings and appointments, and maintaining accurate data records. Her ability to meet deadlines with clear, effective communication ensures continuity of care and the successful delivery of quality healthcare services.

Josie joined YHC in April 2020 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Josie loves being able to help others and working in an industry that makes such a positive difference in the lives of others was the perfect fit for her.

Josie's own values align with those of YHC and putting the client's needs first in order to help them live their best life is what motivates her on a daily basis.  She says it is an added bonus to work alongside a great team who genuinely support each other, and work together to achieve the best outcomes for their clients as well as other as a team and individually.

When not at work Josie loves playing tennis, working out at the gym or just enjoying the beach.

Joining the YHC team in 2020 Chris is our Payroll and HR Administrator and has the important role of helping us to find the best support workers who will work with our valued clients.

She understands the compassion that is required when you are working with the elderly and people living with a disability and prides herself on helping to recruit the right people to provide care and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Chris spends her time away from work with her family and relaxes by regularly practicing yoga.

Valma joined YHC in 2021 and quickly became a valued member of the team. Valma plays an important role in building a positive workplace culture and ensuring our team are supported in their roles when delivering outstanding care to our clients.

When not at work, Valma loves to take long hikes or walks along the beach exploring all the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Rita is drawn to the compassionate atmosphere of the disability care sector, appreciating how it attracts people who genuinely care for others, which fosters a supportive work environment.

She values the flexibility and remote work options provided by YHC, allowing her to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Outside of work, Rita indulges her love for reading and enjoys discovering intriguing Chinese and Korean dramas to watch on TV, immersing herself in captivating stories during her spare time.

Outside of work, Rod finds solace in cherished family moments, expresses himself through playing the Yidaki, and cultivates inner peace through the practice of meditation.

With over a decade of experience spanning various roles in the disability care sector, including Support Coordination, Care Coordination, and direct care supports, Amber brings a wealth of expertise to her current role.

Reflecting her dedication to personal and professional growth, Amber is pursuing her counseling diploma.

She is passionate about the opportunities afforded by the industry, recognising each opportunity as essential in delivering quality care. Witnessing the positive changes and increased support available to participants over the past decade has been particularly rewarding for Amber.

In her spare time, as a devoted mother to four children, Amber treasures family adventures, whether it's exploring nature trails, visiting the beach, or enjoying a day at the water park or zoo. For Amber, contentment lies in spending time with her loved ones and occasionally indulging in a well-deserved afternoon nap on weekends.

As a dedicated team member at YHC, Hayden is passionate about helping people achieve their individual, personal goals.

With a background in cooking, honed from early experiences in a large foster home where they prepared meals for a group of 14 every night, Hayden discovered a love for culinary arts that has flourished into a confident and versatile cooking skill set.

Outside of work, Hayden enjoys exploring new recipes and flavours, finding inspiration in the beauty of delicious food and challenging himself to recreate it at home.

Vicky prides herself on providing high levels of quality care to clients and instilling confidence in the services we provide to people with disabilities. 

In particular, Vicky enjoys case management and actively works to find solutions to challenges, always putting the needs of our clients first.  A born communicator, Vicky prides herself on her ability to establish and maintain meaningful and positive relationships with everyone she deals with.

With three young children, Vicky does not have a lot of spare time but manages to relax with her family by going camping and spending time on the river kayaking and paddling. As a family that loves to spend time outdoors, there is always a new adventure waiting for Vicky and her very active family.

Outside of work, Lauren cherishes spending time with her family and beloved dog, exploring new destinations and enjoying the tranquility of the ocean.

Driven by her passion for making a positive difference, Rachel thrives in building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families, and is committed to helping them achieve their goals in both health and personal development.

Outside her professional role, Rachel enjoys spending quality time with her family, embarking on camping trips, mountain biking on trails, and exploring new places. She also has a passion for decorating and interior design, which allows her to express her creativity in her personal time.

As a Care Coordinator, Kirsten leads by example and embodies Your Home Care's core values of "heart, openness and empowerment" to bring the team together to achieve the goal of successfully providing quality care to our clients and in upholding the company culture.
